The country is home to some very exotic species. The Red-eyed Tree Frog has to be one of the coolest. While exploring the forest, you may be lucky enough to see one. Costa Rica also has gorgeous butterflies. They are very colorful and are always flying around. It gives the country a very magical feeling. Well over 800 different species of birds call Costa Rica home. So while visiting, make sure to keep your eyes open for these unique creatures.

The food in Costa Rica is incredible. It is full of flavor and spices, but it isn’t that spicy. Breakfast is one of the best meals this country has to offer. The cuisine in Costa Rica has a wide variety so everyone can find something they enjoy.

The beaches in Costa Rica are absolutely breathtaking. With close to 300 beaches along the Pacific Ocean, there are a lot of options. However, all of them offer soft sand, beautiful swaying palm trees and the freshness of the ocean. There are many activities you can do at the beach besides just sunbathing. Some of the beaches are the perfect spot to surf. You can also take out mini boats from the shore. Some of the beaches even lead to a leafy forest. So you can enjoy your time by the water then head out on an adventure.

If you aren’t on a family vacation or you have a night out with out the kids, you must check out the country’s nightlife. With clubs all over offering dancing and fun, you can always expect a good time. The beach towns seem to have the best nightlife. You can salsa dance to some great native music and mingle with some of the locals. If you are lucky, you may even catch a famous DJ spinning the tables one night while dancing the night away in a Costa Rican club.

Costa Rica would be a great vacation for the whole family. The country offers so much to do and there is always something for the kids and whole family. You can also make it a romantic destination if you want to leave the kids at home. Whatever you want, Costa Rica offers it.
