Star Wars Hits a Home Run with Force Friday

Last Friday was Force Friday and it did not disappoint. Star Wars fans were able to shop for a number of new Star Wars merchandise in preparation for the December release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Retail stores like Target and Wal-Mart went all out for this special Star Wars day and a week later, aisles are still covered in the new Star Wars merchandise like clothes, books, action figures, toys and even soup.

Campbell’s released Star Wars themed soups with cool labels that include Star Wars characters. Twenty new Star Wars books were released along with a new game that includes Disney characters and Star Wars characters called Disney Infinity 3.0. Cover Girl even jumped on the Star Wars bandwagon releasing Star Wars themed makeup so fans can always look their best.

Tons of toys and action figures are now available including action figures of villain Kylo Ren, female villain Captain Phasma and of course Chewbacca. The Stormtroopers have a new look and fans can also get models of popular Star Wars spaceships.

One of the coolest new toys is the Star Wars Bladebuilders. Fans of all ages get the chance to build their own lightsaber. The toy comes with different components and makes one badass lightsaber. A new interactive figure of Kanan Jarrus is another huge hit.

The first Star Wars movie was released in the late 1970s and it is awesome that after all these years, it is still popular. Star Wars is even being introduced to a new generation and they love it.

The new gear was released at the perfect time too. Halloween is right around the corner and you can bet that a lot of costumes will be from Star Wars. Christmas is also coming up and I am sure young and old fans will have some of these items on their Christmas list. Thanks to now an even larger collection of Star Wars merchandise, anyone can be a Jedi Master.
