I have this fascination with the Juggalo subculture, while I find many of the hatchet-wielding fans to be fairly repugnant, I give them a lot of credit for owning it. Punk is kind of novelty, goth is a bit silly, and pretty much every other subculture has been exploited at some point–but Juggalos, like cockroaches, have withstood the test of time.
Here is probably the best Juggalo video to come into existence, taken outside of the Marquee Theater in Arizona a few years ago. It’s only got about 6,000 views–and I know 100 of those have to be from me showing every new person I meet this debauchery. Please watch, and enjoy.
