Breaking Bad fans can now own a piece of the hit show. Jesse Pinkman’s house from AMC’s original series is for sale for $1.6 million dollars in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Fans might be recall seeing the house many times throughout the series. In season 3 of Breaking Bad, Aaron Paul’s character Jesse Pinkman purchased the home from his parents. It has since become a famous spot for Breaking Bad fans to visit. The show ended in 2013, but tourists still visit the house often. It is even listed as a stop on a 3.5-hour trolley tour ride in the city.
The 3,539-square-foot home is located right off of Route 66 and thankfully doesn’t come with the meth lab like in the show. But the home does have four bedrooms, three bathrooms, two porches and a breakfast nook.
Locals have said that the show has really boosted the economy in Albuquerque. I think the home wouldn’t be able to get as much money if it wasn’t featured on the hit television show. It really is like any other ordinary home and there is nothing special about it except the fact that it was featured on Breaking Bad.
Buyers do need to beware though. The house continues to be a famous spot for fans to visit. I don’t think tourists are going to stop visiting this place anytime soon. Breaking Bad is a show that is still talked about even two years after it ended. So the new homeowners need to bee prepared for a lot of visitors.
