4 ways to enhance your brand recognition

Customers are more likely to buy products and services from a company they recognize and believe to be trustworthy. That’s just one of the reasons why it is so important to build a trustworthy and notable brand. If executed correctly, your existing and future customer base will increase – as will those all-important sales. Here are 4 ways to enhance your brand recognition.

Collaborative marketing

Collaborating with businesses that compliment your brand is a great way to increase brand recognition and tap into a customer base you might not ordinarily have access to. It can be done locally or online and could prove to be fairly lucrative.

Say, for example, you run a bridal store in your local town. Collaborating with the local florist, hairdresser, and beauty salon could be beneficial to all. Instead of marketing one service, you can offer a one-stop-shop. Not only could such a marketing technique attract local custom, but it is also likely to attract customers from further afield. Before long, your brand could be catapulted into the forefront of a wider and broader market. Consider companies that would work well alongside yours and take it from there.

Social media influencers

A recent article published by Maryville University said: “Digital communication is crucial to branding in today’s internet landscape.” They also stated that whilst pre-digital age communications are still important, “…current professionals must be well-versed in digital platforms, such as social networks, email, messaging apps, and blogs.”

Social media influencers are just one of the options when it comes to digital marketing, and the benefits can be huge. If you can find a suitable influencer that will trial or promote your product, you could become an overnight success.

It’s important to remember that an influencer might receive thousands of emails and DMs every single day so, when contacting them, make sure your message stands out and include content that will pique their interest. It’s been suggested that millennials are more likely to buy a product promoted by their favorite YouTube star than they are a celebrity, so it’s an avenue worth pursuing.

Word of mouth marketing

You might be surprised at just how powerful good customer care can be in terms of brand recognition. It’s all very well offering an efficient and friendly sales technique, but if the after-sales service is poor, it could be detrimental to your business.

Provide a fabulous service, and customers will shout about it. Provide a terrible one, and they will shout even louder. If customers are going to tell people about your company, make sure it’s for all the right reasons.

Promotional merchandising

Promotional merchandising has been used for decades and is a great way to enhance brand recognition. Many companies include a complimentary free gift with every first order and include branded items such as mugs, pens, or USB sticks. Others use promotional products when sponsoring local events or clubs and have items like tote bags, T-shirts, and trolley tokens printed.

The more that people see your logo and recognize your company name, the more likely they are to purchase from you or re-order so although there is an outlay involved, it could be well worth it.
