First you melt as much butter as you think you’ll need into a saucepan. Add some water to prevent the butter from burning. Then add your ground up, decarboxylated cannabis and let it simmer for 2-3 hours. Once it’s ready, strain the butter into a jar. First preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Then melt 1½ teaspoons of cannabutter along with 7½ tablespoons of regular butter into a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in chocolate until it’s combined with the butter. Once smooth, take the pan off the heat and let it cool for 5 minutes. While its cooling, whisk 1 cup of all-purpose flour and a ½ teaspoon of baking powder in a small bowl. In a larger bowl, whisk 2 eggs, 1 cup of sugar, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and ¼ teaspoon of salt until it is fluffy and light yellow. Now add your chocolate/butter and mix until combined. Then add your flour and mix until combined. Finally, pour it all into a greased (butter or cooking spray) pan and bake for 20-25 minutes. After allowing it to cool for 20 minutes, cut up the brownies and enjoy. But remember, these aren’t your average brownies, so be careful with that sweet tooth.
Weed Bacon
I know what you’re thinking, “Weed Bacon, are you insane?!” Perhaps we are, but don’t knock it until you’ve tried it. This super simple recipe begins with sprinkling ground-up decarboxylated marijuana on one side of each slice of bacon. Then you bake the bacon at 275 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 minutes. Quickly remove and flip the bacon. Now sprinkle the second side of each slice of bacon with ground-up decarboxylated marijuana and toss it back in the oven for another 10 minutes. Boom, just like that you’ve got yourself some weed bacon. And don’t go tossing out that leftover bacon grease. For some, the “Firecracker” may have been your first experience with cannabis edibles. While for others, this may be your first time ever hearing of the weed treat. The beauty of the “Firecracker” is that it only uses three ingredients and is ready in half an hour. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit and lay out a sheet of foil. Simply spread a layer of peanut butter (or sunflower butter for those with nut allergies) on top of a graham cracker. Then sprinkle ground up marijuana onto the cracker and top it off with another graham cracker. Wrap the “Firecracker” in foil and toss it in the oven for 30 minutes.
