The ride is a launched roller coaster that has a top speed of 150 miles per hour. The Formula Rossa reaches its top speed in just 5 seconds thanks to a hydraulic launch system. The legendary racetrack, Autodromo Nazionale Monza, inspired the shape of the ride.
