Underworld: Blood Wars starring Kate Beckinsale is the fifth installment in the movie series. The feud between vampires and werewolves continues on January 6. Watching a super sexy heroine slaying ancient monsters is always a great way to kick-start the movie watching year.

Patriots Day is a January 13 release starring Mark Walberg. In this thriller Walberg teams up with director Peter Berg again. The duo from the movie Deepwater Horizon gives a great cinematic portrayal of the events based on the Boston Marathon Bombing.

Live by Night is another January 13 release that really promises to be great watch. This is the follow up movie to Argo which was Ben Afflecks Directorial debut. Live By Night is a underworld criminal drama in which Ben Affleck plays a gangster.
